Who is responsible

SX Bench, run by a sole trader in the United Kingdom, is the controller of your personal data. Contact: support@sx-bench.co.uk.

What we collect and why

• Your email address, to sign you in with emailed links and to contact you about your subscription. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
• Subscription details from Stripe (customer ID, plan, status, renewal date), to give you access to the labs you pay for. Legal basis: contract.
• Payment and billing details (card, billing address, tax ID) are collected and held by Stripe, not by us. Stripe uses them to take payment and calculate tax.
• Your lab progress (which labs you have started and completed, and when), so it follows you between devices. Legal basis: contract.
• Your benches. The simulator stores what you build in your own browser's local storage. It is not sent to us.

Cookies

We set two cookies, __Host-sxb_at and __Host-sxb_rt, only when you sign in. They keep you signed in for up to 30 days and are strictly necessary, so we don't ask for consent. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.

Who we share it with

• Stripe (payments and tax), Supabase (accounts and database), Cloudflare (website hosting) and Resend (sending sign-in emails). They process data on our behalf under their data processing terms, and some processing happens outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
• We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep your account while it is in use. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and sessions after 30 days. If you ask us to delete your account we will do so, except for records we must keep for tax purposes (normally six years), which Stripe holds.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@sx-bench.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
